Artist Statement

The painting has enveloped me, alienates me, lifts me, and every combination of tones and forms, I can transform in time and space, I grew up with hardly realize, reinvent and safe walking the walk of colors, I am self-taught , and although I could not imagine my childhood painter, now I see myself out of this magical world.
I am Cuban, and perhaps why they say that my tastes painting, music, tropics, rum, beautiful women ...., Perhaps for that, "Silhouettes" defines me.
I do not like ties, I like to be free, authentic, I'm just me naked before a lienzo.Eso art means to me, do what I please, .... With total contempt and love at once!. I have a fixed scheme to create, sometimes it is the color that drives me, sometimes it is the line, sometimes the way, sometimes moving, sometimes half, sometimes the subject ... ..
I traveled from oil to acrylic.
I have changed my life.
I changed to the name!
I created it! "Despresionismo"!. (Joking)

La pintura me ha envuelto,me enajena, me eleva,y en cada combinacion de tonos y formas,puedo transformarme en el tiempo y en el espacio,he crecido sin apenas darme cuenta,reinventandome y caminando seguro en este andar de colores ,soy autodidacta,y aunque en mi infancia no me imaginaba pintor,ahora no me veo a mi mismo fuera de este magico mundo.

Soy cubano, y quizas por eso dicen que mi pintura tiene sabor,musica,tropico,ron,mujeres bellas….,quizas por eso “Siluetas” me define.

No me gustan las ataduras,me gusta ser libre ,autentico,soy simplemente yo, desnudo ante un lienzo.Eso significa el arte para mi, hacer lo que me plazca,….con total desprecio y amor a la vez!.No tengo un esquema fijo para crear, a veces es el color el que me impulsa, a veces es la linea, a veces la forma, a veces el movimiento, a veces el medio, a veces el tema…..

He viajado del oleo al acrilico.

He cambiado mi vida.

He cambiado hasta el nombre!

He creado el! “Despresionismo”!.(en broma)
